I am a Director of Simulation Technology at NVIDIA working on physics simulation for robotics, animation, and interactive applications. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Copenhagen where I studied numerical methods for contact, under the supervision of Prof. Kenny Erleben. I like numerical optimization and try to design parallel methods that can leverage GPU hardware effectively. Much of my work has been integrated into products at NVIDIA including PhysX, Flex, and Isaac Gym. Before joining NVIDIA I worked in the games industry on real-time visual effects and rendering at Sony, Rocksteady, and LucasArts.
